Faculty Research Interests

In keeping with the NIH Neurosciences Blueprint, the University of Louisville Neuroscience Program brings together faculty with diverse research interests to promote discovery via the sharing of ideas and resources.

MOLECULAR: Discovering the key molecules for nervous system function.

CELLULAR: Charting the life, death and specialization of cells in the nervous system.

Systems: Identifying functional circuits for perception, cognition, emotion and behavior as well as circuits that regulate bodily function.

TRANSLATIONAL: Developing interventions for maintaining health and reducing the burden of disease.
