Application Procedure

STEP 1. The first step in the application process is to review programs of study offered by each department listed above and select the program(s) that best accommodate your professional objectives. Review of faculty research interests will also help you decide which department best fits your interests and training goals.

STEP 2. Complete the Graduate School Application Forms: These forms can be mailed to you on request or you can complete them online. Applicants should indicate which degree programs he/she is interested in by including the appropriate major codes* on the application form under the Educational Plans Section.

STEP 3. Send the following application materials to:

  1. Completed Graduate School Application Form (if not completed online).
  2. Official transcripts of all undergraduate or graduate work completed.
  3. Official scores of the Graduate Record Exam General Test.
  4. A minimum of 2 letters of recommendation
  5. A brief statement of purpose that describes your interests and career goals and explains why you would like to join the Neuroscience Program.
  6. Application fee.
  7. All international applicants whose native language is not English must submit Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores.

Students accepted into the Neuroscience Program with full funding will receive a stipend of $22,000/year, health insurance, and tuition remission.
